Don't think I'm sleeping on the job

C O M P L E T I O N.   Such a word, but I am using it.  Finished my 25 patch blocks. I think they need sashing, so I have been "auditioning" some choices. See the red?  I think I am about settled on a fairly dark blue as something that will (hopefully) corral these colorful blocks.

I also managed to "sandwich" two table runners, ready for some sort of machine quilting. (No, Caro, they aren't worth hand quilting.)

So there you are. What is your word for 2016?

  1. I agree, your blocks need some sashing. I'm sure you'll do a great job on this. My word for 2016? Self control. So I don't start too many projects and don't buy too much stash ;)

  2. My word is just ENJOY / Celebrate the day. I'm not thinking about all my unfinished prorjects or my stash in 2016. Maybe in 2017 ;). See you on the 11th of march. Bigh Hugh Caro
love you quilt, sashing would be good, and without sashing I would arrange them more light-dark. I prefer without sashings.

  3. Love your blocks! Blue will be pretty I think! Your tablerunners are really cute too. You have been busy! My word is Attention, I will try to give more attention to the people I love this year!
