I am behind again.

Well, I need to go on a hunt for some photos.  I have been working on a number of projects, but I cannot show many here because, well,. . . . . . . . . . some people do read my blog so I cannot show you what I'm doing.

However, a few words should suffice for a bit:  Today I found the right fabrics for 2 borders for the quilt for gals married last week-end.  When Alayne gets home from her Q.A. retreat, she said she would do the quilting for me, then the gift can be from both of us.  Check.

At the top is the quilt and below are border choices.  The navy will be the wide border and one of the other will be a narrow border inside the blue.  Should be good for a lap quilt.

7 year old granddaughter's birthday is actually tomorrow, but we are heading to my ex-husband's for a family celebration on Sunday.  They often celebrate Thanksgiving with us but will be out of town for their anniversary, so we will make Sunday the day for the "whole" bunch of us to get together.  Check.

Started a knit hat for (only) grandson.  Nana is making a number of "happy hands at home" gifts this Christmas.  Have almost finished a xxxx for Elaine's sister for Christmas.  [no photos].  Learned of a very cute way to "bead" little girl socks, so I swiped a pair from B's drawer and will work on that, for C.  Check.

I made some very cute bobbin cleaners - thank you Sharon for the idea.  I will take a photo, then Caro can take them home with her for the Mutsen quilting girls.  Oh yes, Caro will arrive here on Saturday, the 16th.  Not long now.  It is sure to be a whirlwind of visiting and shopping and sewing and lots of tea and talking.  We have such a fun time when we visit.  Check.

I will look for some photos to add here.  It's so dull without pictures, isn't it?  Happy Friday!
